Sonion Research and Development organizations promote industry standards and technologies through industry groups, strategic partners and academia. At Sonion, we have several research programs running including PhD programs with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and with the Dutch Twente University of Technology.

In 2005, Sonion filed more than 12 patents for advancements we made in Hearing Instrument Components, Mobile Terminal Components and in Medical Device Components.
