Combination Units

Using the Sonion Combination Units enables hearing instrument designers to achieve quick time to market on new In-The-Ear developments.

Sonion was the first to pioneer the combination unit. For example the Sonion Combinaton Unit CU 10 isa unique integration of six hearing instrument components: Microphone, push button, programming system, battery door for battery size 10A, battery springs and flex printed circuit board for circuit attachment.

The tight integration of components allows for push button functionality on top of the battery door. This is utilized to enable Complete-In-Canal (CIC) type hearing instruments with push button functionality.
