Sonion Research, Development and Industrialization is due to continuing growth and changes continuously looking for new colleagues to help us developing and optimizing our microphones and receivers to be used in hearing aid devices.
For our Microphone, Receiver and Systems Development departments we are looking for a Product Development Engineer.
As Product Development Engineer you will participate in the development of sub-miniature receivers and microphones for Hearing Aid and Pro Audio applications. You will typically do this as a member of a small multi-disciplinary team, working on generic product innovations of customer-specific product variations.
Your Assignments
A Product Development Engineer focuses on feasibility studies (concept development, simulation, risk analysis, demonstrator and prototype realization), Product Development (technical design, production compliance, FMEA, development and administration of measurement methods, control plan) and technical support to the international production organization.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for colleagues who have the drive to realize products that our clients are asking for within a competitive timeframe. You have to find a balance between superior solutions and time to market and you are able to work within different teams and disciplines. You need to have good communicational skills, you have to be target oriented, innovative, creative and pro-active.
We are looking for candidates with relevant knowledge and expertise in the field of Physics, Mechanics or Electronics, preferably on a Msc. level.
Preferably you have 3-5 years of relevant working experience and you are prepared to travel once in a while.
